KEY PIECE: DKNY Men Blazer (Rakuten.com)

As you may or may not know, I am a big fan of Japan: I’ve been studying the language for over a year now, and I am hoping to go visit very soon — so today’s post has a very personal note. “着回し” (kimawashi) is Japanese for “wear around”, wearing the same item in different ways in your own personal style. I took on this challenge with this awesome DKNY blazer I found on Rakuten.com. Rakuten and Vault often have insane deals on cool pieces from top brands — if you’re the type of dude who wants to check out clothes in person first, and you’re in New York, you’re in luck: there’s going to be a little Pop-In at the boutique Owen from 10/22 to 10/29/14. I took the blazer and tried to show you guys what my blog really is all about “dapper” and “street”, so I went gradually from street style to very dapper, with jeans and sneakers first, cargos and a sweater second, and unbutton shirt and a cardigan wit ha pair of sneakers third, then adding a tie to the penultimate look but still keeping it casual, and lastly all the way dressed up, with dress shirt, vest, tie and slacks.
