Rock a fitted or oversized sweater dress for a sophisticated and classy, yet super comfortable look. 2. The Perfect Leather Jacket

Winter is a time for layers, and sometimes we can get a little lazy and we end up wearing our high school senior spirit week hoodie. Avoid this by always having the perfect leather (or vegan leather) jacket at hand! Layering your leather jacket over a simple cardigan or plaid button down is such a great way to spice up an outfit and give your look a little bit of an edge while also keeping you super warm! 3. The Perfect Plaid Skirt

Every woman needs a plaid skirt. Whether it be a fitted midi or a fit and flare mini, plaid is an essential fall and winter print. It is cute, sassy and it pairs well with thigh highs (my favorite!). Throw on an oversized sweater, or layer up with a leather jacket. For colder days, you can wear some fleece-lined tights and thick socks under a pair of over-the-knee boots. 4. The Perfect Thigh Highs

Ok, we all know that I’m a little bit obsessed with thigh highs–but it’s for good reason! They elongate your legs and are super edgy. Pair them with dresses, skirts, or even shorts! My newest thigh-high obsession actually comes in boot form. Thigh-high boots have the same effect as thigh-highs, but they are even sexier (if that is even possible)! 5. The Perfect (Faux) Fur Vest

I’m not a huge fur fan, but I can’t deny how awesome the fur vest trend is. Luckily, there are plenty of faux fur options out there that look just as good as real fur and are animal-friendly. Fur vests are perfect for layering, and they look good with ANYTHING. Literally. Wear with a dress, a sweater, pants, leggings, skirts…anything. It’s the perfect staple for a cold winter.
