Grilled Peaches

Peaches

Skewers

Cinnamon and Sugar

Mint

Put skewers into water. Let them sit for 30 minutes.

Preheat grill to about 375 degrees.

Cut peaches into quarters. If you cut them smaller they will cut fall apart on the grill.

Place the peaches on to the skewers.

Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.

Place the skewers on the grill.

Let them cook for 2-3 minutes on each side. Be careful not to over cook because the peaches will just melt off the skewer.

When you are finished grilling, transfer to a plate.

Add a little more cinnamon and sugar and the mint leaves.

Serve.

Can you believe this was the first time I’ve ever made grilled peaches? I can’t believe I waited this long. They taste like fruit candy! Why didn’t anyone tell me. I love how the mint plays off the sweetness of the fruit. It’s a great combination.

I always have a cinnamon and sugar sitting with my spices. I combine it ahead of time and just keep it for things like this. I’ve also seen a cinnamon and sugar grinder at Trader Joes. It’s got rock sugar so it grinds out course pieces of sugar. That would be great for something like this.
